KUALA LUMPUR ACCOMODATION

- Tune Hotels - This is located about 10 minute walking distance to the AirAsia check-in counters. I typically stay here when there is an early flight.
- Capsule by Container Hotel - this is located at the other end of the Airport Mall. I have never stayed here before, so cannot comment on its comfort.
NEAR LindyKL Social (New Star Studio):
There are a few options near the dance venue. There are more near the area, so please do your own research. (Note: These two options are not traditional hotels, so you need to contact the person when checking-in)

GETTING AROUND KUALA LUMPUR
There are a few transport companies that run the public train/monorail routes. Typically transferring between lines operated by the same company at transfer stations is easier than between lines operated between different companies. You may need to walk between station to transfer and at times need to exit and buy another ticket to do the transfer. You can read more about the different routes and how to purchase tickets and take try transport at the MY Rapid website. Please also see the transit map and the transfer stations details when you plan.
Another option is to user Uber or Grab to travel to your destination. However, for this, you would need a data plan or access to wifi on your phone. At times, the driver may call to confirm the trip and pick up location. I've had no problem previously taking Uber or Grab in Kuala Lumpur, but be prepared to get stuck in traffic. Typically we recommend taking Grab in Kuala Lumpur, as it has a fixed price for the trip that is shown to you at the time of your order. Uber shows estimated cost, but it's calculated at the end based on the distance and duration. Therefore, if you get stuck in traffic, you may end up paying a lot more using Uber. (In Melaka, Uber will typically be cheaper. You can check both at time of making your order)
